YouTube channel growth slow down mistake and Pro Tip's | Best way to engage people

YouTube channel is not growing as you would like! It is true that it is not easy to get monetized on YouTube, Many new YouTubers give up and never reach the monetization stage! Do not give up! It will take time!

One of the most common mistakes new Youtubers make is not niching down! By finding a niche I mean to find an industry and focus on it e.g fitness, marketing, personal development, beauty and so on. This is the first step. After that you need to find some specific topics within this niche to talk about and analyse so you can check out what people want. Prepare several topics and find out what your audience prefers!

Another basic mistake, a technical one, is bad audio  Good audio is necessary for a channel’s success because if you are not well heard or there are changes on the volume levels it can be annoying and people will leave your channel! The visuals are also important but it is considered that audio is probably the most significant technical element of your videos! You should use captions if the sound is not good in some parts and also for people to understand you especially if you target people worldwide and you are not speaking in your mother tongue. They may have problems with your accent, therefore it is necessary to use captions-subtitles so the audience understands everything you say!

You should avoid Subscriber for subscribe  You can see in many videos spam my comments about subscribe for subscribe but this is such a bad technique to do because it will may help you in the beginning to get some subscribers but it will hurt your channel growth long-term.

Keep in mind that YouTube also deletes subscribers that do not watch your content regularly and it can easily detect people who subscribed without actually being interested in your content. Therefore, it deletes them. So what’s the point? Moreover you may get some subscriber but your views will be pretty low compared to the number of subscribers you have and this can also harm your growth!

Try not to be spam my or your comments  Its necessary to engage on the platform and comment on other videos, but you should sound natural and should not over-promote your channel. Just try to write nice comments, solve problems and sometimes say that you have a video analysing this topic on your channel. Comment on videos in your niche, not other niches. You will not benefit by approaching people from other niches you are not interested about and they are not interested in yours as well, just to get a subscriber! It is usually a waste of time! Search engine optimization is viral for your videos to be shown on search on YouTube! You can understand how important it is but still many YouTubers do not use any tool that can help them with this! Tube buddy and Vidiq are 2 of the best tools that can help you to discover the right keywords, titles and tags so you get the best results! I use Tube buddy and I have a paid subscription because you can see how good a keyword is specifically for your channel according to the views your channel gets! This does not happen with the free version! You need to take SEO seriously since it can be a huge part of your success!

Check more about ranking your videos higher on YouTube by clicking the video above! Do you get very few views? Maybe this is due to the fact that the topics you are choosing are not so popular. So, a mistake that many new YouTubers make is non-searchable content. If you are not growing, change topic  you can understand what does well and what not through your analytics! They are your best friend that can help you grow faster on YouTube! Before you start filming a video you should check out if the video idea is worth it! You need to see if the topic is trending. Check out what your competitors do that gets a lot of views and do something like that!

Another problem can be a very small niche– if you have a niche that is not so popular, then your views and subs will consequently be low! If you plan to earn money only from Youtube Adsense then you need popular niches because if you get few views then the money you earn will not be much! Very specific niches are good to start if you are planning to earn money on YouTube in other ways as well, besides AdSense! I will talk about this in a future video! So, if your niche is small then your growth will be slow, therefore you need to stay patient if you want to continue in this niche! comment down below: what mistake or mistakes are you doing that you think they hinder your growth YouTube? You have probably heard that you need to stay consistent to succeed on YouTube.

You need to upload frequently at least once per week and you should avoid breaks on your upload rate. Your subscribers need to know that you are going to deliver e.g two times per week so they know when to anticipate your videos! This will make them subscribe! It is ok if you do not upload at the someday each time (it is suggested though) or if you miss one day. Try to stick at least to a regular upload rate e.g. 2 times per week. Do not allow yourself to have gaps e.g. a month off  Ok if you go on vacation upload once instead of two times or do not upload at all for a week but get back!

You need to prove to the algorithm that you are trustworthy, so it suggests you to more and more people and you get discovered! Big intros, selling promotions that take alot of time, stops in your video are all mistakes that can really hinder your growth!

First of all, remember that people came to watch your video for a reason  they usually want to solve a problem! So, be mindful of this. You need to be careful of your watch time because it will determine your success! I have an intro and outro video but they definitely take time. I think that the outro should be cut down. You will probably not see an outro in this video. My intro video should be smaller as well  Its about 14 seconds but a good intro video (if you want to keep one) should be about5-8 seconds max! Moreover, do not talk a lot as an introduction to your topic because people want to learn the tips as fast as possible and they will probably skip some parts of the video! Get to your main topic pretty soon! Keep their attention, do not have pauses and long silent sessions.

Not providing good value is a mistake that many small YouTubers make! You should keep in mind that because YouTube is a competitive place for content creators you should focus on creating videos that provide real value to the viewers and help them with something or entertain them! If you do not prove your value people will not subscribe! It is better to upload fewer times than uploading more and not doing quality videos! Another big mistake has to do with your mindset! Many small YouTubers believe that will grow fast and look only for money. No, it is not easy to grow your channel inmid-2020. Competition is high so it will take time to differentiate and allow the algorithm to pick your videos! It is hard to grow and reach that level of monetization, those 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time! Therefore, you need to be persistent, love what you do and not only look to earn money from the platform! The monetization stage takes time, that is why many people give up pretty soon. Do not be one of those! Take YouTube seriously!
Another mistake is non-custom thumbnails or low quality thumbnails! You should keep in mind that thumbnails and titles are crucial so that people click on your video and watch! You need to create eye-catching and attractive thumbnails that make more and more people click on the video! Check what other people do and find out nice style that works well for click through rates and also characterizes and represents your brand! Do not be afraid to test your thumbnails in the beginning to understand which type of thumbnail does better than the others! Thank you so much for watching!
